Description

White-bodied ceramic pitcher with multicolored hand-painted decoration. The pitcher is molded with a repeating diaper pattern and fluted near the rim. It is painted (underglaze) with a design of roses, rosebuds, and leaves on the body, and red and green leaves around the rim. The handle and top edge are gilded.
