Description

Stamped tin shaving mirror with fold-out stand. When folded, the mirror glass is encased between two pieces of tin. One side--the side attached to the mirror glass--is stamped with a decorative border of a laurel wreath between two rows of beading and the central inscription, "BREVETE A. PARIS / E. C." There is a long brass rectangle and a brass semi-oval attached to that side with metal loops that act as hinges. When unfolded, the brass components prop the mirror against the other piece of tin.
