Description

Oval tin epaulet case. The case is painted black and has the label, "D. K. Gilson / St. Albans Vt" scratched into the top. There is a handle at the center top made from a wire bent into an oval shape. The lid hinges open and secures with a metal tab at the center front. The interior is unlined. There is a small oval lidded compartment attached to the center interior, and two cylindrical inserts on the interior sides, even with the compartment.
