Description
Full-color print showing a farm complex (foreground) with a mountain in the background. The complex consists of a white house with two sections and a porch, a large barn, and two small outbuildings. People, chickens, and cows are visible in the farmyard. In the middle distance, there is a group of men around an upright pole with several lines stretching from the top of the pole to the ground, forming a cone shape. The rest of the men's activity is hidden behind a hill. The print is labeled, "DISTANT VIEW OF THE MARBLE QUARRY OF WILLIAM F. BARNES, ESQ. CLARENDON, VT."
