Sterling silver commemorative medal. The medal is molded on one side with the inscription, "BARRE / 200 YEARS / VERMONT / AMERICAN REVOLUTION BICENTENNIAL / 1976" around the edge and images of a church and a crane lifting a large granite block in the center. The other side is molded with the inscription, "BARRE CITY * BARRE TOWN / 1776 . 1976" around the edge and an outline of the map of Vermont with a star in the middle and the inscription, "TODAY IS HISTORY TOMORROW/ CHARTERED BARRE IN 1780" in the center. The edge of the medal is etched, "Ster 122".Context
