Membership ribbon consisting of a bar, a yellow ribbon, and a round medallion. The bronze bar has scrollwork at the top, the Liberty Bell at the center, a building at the left, and the Pennsylvania state seal at the right. The date 1899 flanks the bell, and the word, "PHILADELPHIA", is on a scroll at the bottom A yellow grosgrain ribbon stamped with the letters "W. R. C." in silver is looped and stitched onto a wire on the back of the bar. From an eye hook looped through the bottom of a ribbon hangs a round bronze-framed medallion with a gold cross in the center. The arms of the cross say "W, R, C, 1883" and the center is red, white, and blue with the initials, "F C L". The border is shaped like a furled flag on the left and has the inscription, "33rd NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT" on the right, with the letters "G.A.R." at the top.Context
