National banknote with the inscription, "NATIONAL CURRENCY / SECURED BY UNITED STATES BONDS DEPOSITED WITH THE TREASURER OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / THE KILLINGTON NATIONAL BANK OF RUTLAND VERMONT WILL PAY TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS". There is a bust portrait of Benjamin Franklin at the center. The back is printed in green with an illustration of a large building (Independence Hall, Philadelphia). The serial number is 2905, and it is dated "series of 1929".
