Description

Long, narrow, khaki-colored cotton canvas gun cover. There is an opening on one end that is bound in black cotton and secures with metal snaps. There is a hand-inked label that reads, "Eagle Pass, Texas / H.D. NEWTON / July 9, 1916 / Company K, 1st Inf V.N.G." along with an icon consisting of 2 guns crossed over a laurel wreath with the words, "Expert Rifleman - 200 yard range".
