The third section is blank with evidence of many threads still on the back. Below that it reads: "Executed by Lucretia J (T?) Whittle of Danville / Vt. in the 13th year of her age Sept. 1833. / Jesus permit thy sacred name to stand / At the increasing effort of a youthful hand / And while her fingers o're this canvas move / Encase her tender heart to seek thy love."
