White ceramic trivet with a raised, pink rim molded with scrollwork. The center is printed with an engraved illustration of a large building with towers set behind leafless trees. The image is labeled, "SPAULDING GRADED SCHOOL, BARRE, VT." The bottom of the trivet is marked, "MADE IN GERMANY FOR GEO. F. SCOTT & CO., BARRE, VT."
