Paper money with the inscription, "TWO DOLLARS. No. 14817 / This BILL of TWO DOLLARS shall entitle the BEARER hereof to receive GOLD or SILVER, at the RATE of Four Shillings and Six-pence Sterling per Dollar for the said Billk according to a Resolve of the Convention of MARYLAND, held at the City of Anapolis, the Fourteenth Day of August, 1776." The reverse is printed with the inscription, "ANNAPOLIS: / TWO DOLLARS. / Printed by F. GREEN / Equal to Nine Shillings Sterling."
