Wooden carving of a catamount, or mountain lion, leaping. The catamount is shown with its front paws off the ground and its tail curled on the ground behind it. The weight of its body is held up by a metal support. The tail is broken in two places and held in place by an interior wire. The base is rectangular, with a roughly carved top and smooth sides. It is labeled, "Arthur W. Peach". The tall base sits on a wider, but shorter rectangular base.Context
