White leather shoes that lace up the outer side, even with the ankle. They have a square toe and shaped leather sole. There is a handwritten label on one sole that reads, "Great Aunt Anna Clements wedding shoes," and on the other sole that reads, "Wedding shoes Anna Elisabeth Clement Sister of Governor Percival Clement married Edson P. Gilson June, 1865 Rutland, Vermont."
