Description

Pewter teapot. The pot has a circular foot and narrow neck. The body has a compressed lower bulge, incurved neck, and flared collar. The dome lid has a central acorn finial handle. The handle has remnants of paint from being painted black in imitation of ebony. The bottom of the pot is marked "J.W. Cahill & Co. / 2".
