Description

Navy blue wool nurse's cape with red wool lining. It opens at the center front and secures just below the neckline with two self-fabric straps that attach to buttons on either side of the opening. It has a short standing collar embroidered with the inscriptions "M.H.M.H." on the right and "46" on the left (both in yellow). There is an interior slit pocket on the left side. A sewn-in tag at the back neckline reads, "Marvine Neitzel Corp. Quality Capes and Nurses' Apparel Troy, N.Y. U.S.A." and three additional tags create the initials "A E B" with one letter on each tag.
