Description

Pair of green canvas gaiters or leggings. Each has 13 metal grommets and 9 hooks that lace with string to close the leggings on the outside of the wearer's legs. There is a strap at the bottom of each legging that secures with a metal buckle. They appear to be in unused condition.

Context

Owned by Floyd Colgan of Brookfield during World War II. He served as mechanic and gunner in Army Air Corps, 1942-1945.
