Description

Silver-plated cake basket. The ornate basket is edged in a lacy pierced design. There is a round, central pedestal and a curved handle attaches to the center of each long side.

Context

Presented to Castanus Blake Park by the members of the 16th Vermont Volunteers to commemorate his work as surgeon for the regiment during the Civil War.
