Cake basket consisting of a metal basket with a glass bowl insert. The metal basket is pierced all over with quatrefoil shapes, giving it a woven appearance. It sits on four ornate legs. A curved handle spans the center and is molded with beading. The glass bowl is opaque blue.

Presented to Castanus Blake Park by the members of the 16th Vermont Volunteers to commemorate his work as surgeon for the regiment during the Civil War.
