Description

Round silver-plated waste bowl on pedestal. The rims of both the bowl and pedestal are beaded. The body is engraved with the inscription, "Presented to SURG. C.B. PARK JR. by the Enlisted Men of the 16th Vt. Vols."

Context

Presented to Castanus Blake Park by the members of the 16th Vermont Volunteers to commemorate his work as surgeon for the regiment during the Civil War.
