Description

First aid kit consisting of a canvas cover, metal tin, gauze, and safety pins. The cover has a strap at the back to attach to a belt, and secures closed with a front flap that secures with two snaps. The tin is stamped with the label, "FIRST AID PACKET-U.S. ARMY / CONTRACT NOV. 2 1916 / BAUER & BLACK / CHICAGO, U.S.A. / TO OPEN-PULL RING / PATENT APPLIED FOR". The tin is crushed. Inside is a roll of gauze and two safety pins.
