Sampler of four glass bottles of maple syrup inside a wooden display case. The case is made of five pieces of plywood and fronted with glass. The top of the case has a drawer handle and a handwritten label, "Pawlet VT." An index card secured to the inside of the glass panel reads, "THIS SYRUP MADE / FROM SAME SUPER BUSH / SAME FAMILY, ONE ON / RIGHT MADE IN [IRON] KETTLE" with "IRON" added in above the word "IN." Inside the case are four bottles of various shapes with different metal caps, held within a custom divider system created from repurposed Styrofoam packing materials. Each bottle has a handwritten paper label giving the year the syrup was tapped (left to right: 1945, 1922, 1888, 1877). In front of the divider is a wooden tap spout.Context
