Description

Single ice skate consisting of a wooden base/sole and an iron blade. The blade runs under the center of the sole from the toe to the heel, attaching to the sole at the toe, ball of the foot, and mid-heel. There are two rectangular slits through the sole to accommodate straps. The sole is shaped like the bottom of a straight-cut shoe. The blade is wide with a flat, rather than sharp, edge.
