Description

Silk crazy quilt formed of 20 blocks. The seams between each piece are decorated with embroidery, largely variations of feather stitches. Pieces are further decorated with elaborately detailed painting and embroidery. Motifs include the letter S, a carnation, a pansy, paisley elements, a spiderweb, a fish, a butterfly, a young boy with a hoop, and Eastern European person in a field, clovers, maple leaves, and other flowers.
