Description

Man's deerskin jacket with six antler buttons down the center front. The front placket with the buttonholes is trimmed with thin strips of hide braided into a rope-like trim on either side of the placket. Deerskin braided fringe is attached to each shoulder and the back yoke. Each sleeve has a gusset at the wrist, inserted into the sleeve's seam. The sleeves are laced into the bodice with a narrow strip of deer hide. The hem is curved with side slits. The jacket is unlined. There is no maker's label.
