White ceramic bowl with a softly flared body and a pedestal base. The outside of the bowl is decorated in pink luster accented with green in a curvilinear sprigged vine or feather design. The interior of the bowl is decorated with a sprig at the center in pink luster.

Used during tea service to receive the cold tea from a cup before pouring a new, hot cup.
