Underhammer percussion pistol crudely engraved with "W. Kendall, Windsor, VT" on the top of the barrel. The metal barrel tapers toward the end, and the percussion head for firing the weapon is placed beneath the barrel in front of the trigger. The barrel is smoothbore and has no sites. All the lock mechanisms are internal, and the trigger is framed with brass on the wooden handle.
