Carved wooden stamp. The stamp has a straight, hand-carved wooden handle and solid rectangular block base. The base is carved with the words, "2024 / SOLAR / ECLIPSE / NEK VT" over a round sun covered by the moon. The numbers and letters are carved in reverse to stamp reading accurately on other surfaces.Context
Allen Yale collaborated with fellow Derby, VT, resident and potter Roseanna Cyr of Hopewell Studio, to create a small collection of items commemorating the 2024 Solar Eclipse for Derby and Northeast Kingdom residents.
