"Altar Plan fur die Ehrw: Schwestern in Carrolltown, PA" (Altar plan for the Venerable Sisters in Carrolltown). The Convent was razed in the 1960s and the altar is presumed lost.
On the reverse is a neo-Gothic style altar. Two of the four niches have been sketch in with images of an Angel and a Bishop.
In signature "gem." is German abbreviation for "Gemacht" (made). This was a signature abbreviation Br. Cosmas used mostly in the 1880s.Artwork Details
