Hmong story cloth embroidered by Yia Yang Vue. Story cloths are a way for Hmong to explain their culture to non-Hmong and to the Hmong children who did not grow up in Laos. This cloth depicts the Hmong peoples tragic expulsion from Laos during the Vietnam Conflicit.
