In the mid 1990's this work was attacked by a student with a pencil while it was hanging in the Campus Ministry Lounge, 2nd floor, Alfred Hall. Student was expelled and had to pay a fine.General Notes
Note
Notes: Artist visited Saint Vincent September 6, 2009, to see painting. He states that he gave the painting to St. Bruno Church in South Greensburg, Pennsylvania in 1959 and that it hung in the back of the church. Later he found that sometime, probably the 1970s, the Pastor didn't like the work and that it was given to Saint Vincent to be placed in the Cyypt Church of the Basilica. In 1983, the painting was in the painting storage room. It is not known if the work every hung in the Crypt.
