Note

These Eikons recall those painted in color on view in the entrance gallery, and were painted in the previous year. More than three decades after designing these whimsical images of the unconscious imagination at play, Verostko adapted them for his monumental (26- by 18-foot) Upside Down Mural, installed in Saint Vincent College’s Fred Rogers Center in 2008.
