Rev. J. R. Mulvehill
St Anselm Church,
Swissvale, Pa.
Dear Father Mulvehill,
In accordance to our conversation
I am submitting the subjects for the
second window on the Epistle side
which is under consideration for exe-
cution. Reading upward they are:
The Descent of the Holy Ghost - The
Conversion of Saul - St Peter Baptizes
the Roman Centurion.
As we are already committed to a certain
scheme by the first two windows, I
propose to carry the present on in
harmony with them using the same
quality of glass and materials which
are the very best obtainable.
Having done all the windows already
in the church I should not be found
wanting in carrying out any further
work in the same spirit in drawing
[page 2]
and execution.
The price for this window is $900.00
which includes bars and setting
in place.
The subject matter for the rest of
the windows has been drawn up by me
with the best possible sequence and
order, but as there is much latitude
and wealth of material in carrying
out the idea I would like to
discern it with you before making
it final and giving you a copy
for a permanent record.
For this purpose I should like to
see you again either at your rectory
or at my studio if you prefer paying
me a visit and seeing some of the work
I am carrying out at present for
the new Cathedral at Toledo.
Waiting to hear from you I remain
Sincerely Yours,
A. L. PitassiTranscriber
