Mr A L Pitassi May 22/35
Dear Pitassi,
Mr Gallivan is sending order for the Art Glass for the Clemson College S.C. Catholic Chapel. He will be delayed in sending exact measurement.
Please note that the sacristy has been changed to the opposide side from that shown on Blueprint. This will place the two sacristy windows on the other or left side of Sanctuary.
We have no symbol of the Holy Ghost or of the Blessed Trinity so change the subject of Christ blessing in the round window over altar to one of these of by to get one of these in the center of the front rose windows. Mrs Gallivan's name is Susan Cecilia perhaps you can arrange the figure of H Cecilia in window near organ space in rear in place H Agnes.
I hope you will be able to produce these windows in a reasonably short time and make them as brilliant as possible with good glass without making the Grisaille too dark.
[page 2]
Mr Gallivan is including 51.00 for the 17 vents which includes those in sacristy windows, these latter need not be more than 12" high. The mason who is making the jambs is holding back the work his measurements are not very exact so there may be a small variation the the width etc of the side windows.
The round window over altar will be in wood sash pivoted, no vent
needed. The small circle in middle of front rose will require a circular metal vent
With best wishes
Michael OSB
Nota Bene:
The extra room alongside of sacristy has been left off and some small windows put in back of ___ all of these sizes will be sent and all will have vents at bottom.Transcriber
