Mr. A. L. Pitassi
Pgh Pa.
Dear Pitassi;
Am glad that you are feeling better:
most people have some sort of a break
just after middle life and then pick up and
are able to good look for sometime.
Have written to Father Edward advising
him to have you do any glass he needs.
Monsignor A. K. Gwynn St Mary's Church at
Greenville S.C. is inquiring about some
windows for the Sisters Chapel. Have advised
him to get in touch with you. You might
write him reminding him that you did the
Clemson Chapel and the Greenwood Chapel for him.
The Morgantown windows give a good general
impression & have poetry of work on them; as to the
Medalion figures, you will probly give me a
correct estimate whn you have seen them.
You must get out your depression! I think
you need yo get back back to the practice of
the faith. This art glass for Catholic Churches is a
spiritual work. You take joy in the art for art sake
What you need is the very great joy of spirit which
may be combined yo give full flower to your work
and permanent hope which eliminates the depressive
feeling which makes life not worth the trouble.
Best wished for lots of good luck
