Dear Pitassi: - Sister M deSales has decided to go
a head with the ten windows for the Chapel
of St Mary's Hospital, Clarksburg W. Va - please
write her acknowledging the order for these
windows at a total cost of $1100.00 or
110.00 each. Asking her to send you the names
of any donors she may wish to have placed
on them. Medalions may be: the chalice & Pelican
etc as suggested - 4 St Josephs - Please indicate
the titles and mention them when you

write sister deSales. I am returning the
sketch. I wish you would fix it up a little
mount it and return to Sister deSales so
that she may have it for soliciting donations.
She stopped at anything over $1100.00; so you
will have to get them placed in some way, if you
can get them here before the contractors leave
they could put them in at small cost. The price
averages nearly $10.00 per foot, with no expense
getting the job and comparatively little drawing.
I hope you will be able to do a fair job
and make some money, even if you have to

put them in place. We will have 120 ft
of amber glass which you may be able
to use somewhere. At any rate I want to show
Bishop Swint that his man Soter is not the only
man who can do good windows at reasonable costs.
I am enclosing your envelope with the
exact measurements you want just as
indicated by you. These windows must be installed by or before March 1st
