The paintings (facing and reverse) are a bit faded or dulled, and the edges of the cardboard are frayed, especially in the lower right corner (facing). Also, the cardboard is beginning to bow.

The piece was donated by Mrs. Johanna Zimmerman, sister-in-law of the Gertrude Quastler, after she inheirited the collection upon the death of the artist. She donated the entire collection to Saint Vincent College in 1988.
