This is a reproduction of a 16th century engraving of Veronica meeting Jesus while he is carrying his cross on his way to Calvary. She wipes his face with her vail and an impression of his face is left behind. Jesus carrying his cross is in the center with Veronica and her vail to his left and crowds of on seers and soldiers are surrounding them both. This is 7 out of 7 of the same print.
