Description

Painting of three men looking at one another. One glows with holiness. The painting of Saint Bernard by Andre Girard in the Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica Crypt influences some of Roman's early monastic figure drawing. Here he portrays the contemporary person who speaks truth as a Jesus type. The glow of the Jesus type and manner of suggesting a group reflects Girard's approach to imagining tracnscendent moments.
