It also supported ActiveX controls, Java applets, Netscape plug-ins, JavaScript/VBScript, and various HTML tags like marquee, watermark, and background sounds Bonus Pack: The software came with a Bonus Pack that included Microsoft Image Composer 1.0, Microsoft Personal Web Server, Microsoft Web Publishing Wizard, and Internet Explorer 3.01. System Requirements: It required Windows 95 or Windows NT, at least a 486-66 processor (Pentium 75 recommended), 16 MB of RAM (32 MB recommended), and 30-50 MB of free disk space for installation FrontPage 97 was part of Microsoft's broader strategy to dominate the web development market by providing user-friendly tools that integrated well with other Microsoft products.
