1985- The Nixdorf Compact Personal Computer, Model 8810/25 According to the specifications it weights 33 pounds! This was originally built as a Panasonic Sr. Partner. Nixdorf made an arrangement with Panasonic to sell them under the Nixdorf Computer brand. In 1985 Nixdorf Computer was one of the 20 largest computer manufacturers in the world. It has an 8088 CPU and came with 256KB of RAM which was upgraded to 640KB. I also replaced the second FD with a 40MB Seagate ST-251 Hard Disk Drive. The system has a 9 inch amber display and a built-in 55 CPS thermal graphics printer. It also has a serial port, parallel port, RGB port and keyboard.
