Description

A pair of carbide lamps from circa 1918 that were found in Gold Butte by Eddie Bounsall. The lamps were used in mines, and were worn on a miner's helmet. Before the advent of battery powered lamps, carbide lamps were extremely popular for their ability to direct and focus light.
