Artist Ralph Huntsman - The old Grist Mill of Bunkerville was built by Dudley Leavitt, Sr., Myron and Abial Abbott about 1888-89. It was a Burr Mill, but having New Burrs and a fine Silk bolt, it made good flour for a long time. It Furnished ample flour for the towns of Bunkerville and Mesquite with some to spare for the use of the inhabitants of the adjoining Valley-the Moapa Valley. Later there was a roller Mill installed at Mesquite and the old Burr Mill was converted into an ice plant.
