Brady Walker - The only person from the Virgin Valley to play professional basketball. Brady graduated from Virgin Valley High School in 1939. He attended B.Y.U. in Provo, Utah for a couple of years, then joined the Military Service (4th Armored Division under General Patton). While in the service he took part in Athletics.
Brady was discharged from the Service in 1946, and returned to B.Y.U. He was named "All American in Basketball". After graduation he was recruited by the "Bostons" (later known as the "Boston Celtics") and played for them in the late 1940's and early 1950's. Brady was 6'7" tall!
