A photo of photo of Laura Josephine Allen Abbott. Laura, who preferred to go by Josephine, was Myron Abbott's first wife, and was the wife of one of the original settlers of the Bunkerville area. She had seven children with Myron before the two eventually divorced. Josephine would later remarry Marcus De Lafayette Felts and move to California with the two youngest daughters.. Her son, William Elias Abbott, was instrumental in settling Mesquite.
