Name/Title
Hans Iverson's HomeEntry/Object ID
2021.37.3Description
The home of Hans Peter Iverson, one of the early settlers of the Littlefield area. Hans was born in Denmark on September 24, 1835, meaning he would have been 44 when the area was being settled around the 1870s. Hans was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had three wives and sixteen children. When this house was being built in 1910, he would have been 75 years old. The house was supposedly moved in 1911, but it is unclear where the house was moved to, or if it was ever finished, as Hans would die about ten years later in 1921, at the age of 86.
