Tintype of 2 children circa 1856Entry/Object ID
WHC 2010.41.1Description
Handcolored tintype of a young girl, maybe 3 years old, and a young boy, probably about 6 years old. The children are not identified. The photograph appears to have been taken in the later 1850s, given the style of the tunic of the boy and the children's heavily oiled hair, both popular in that time period.Collection
