Small photograph (3' x 4.5") of two schooners under construction at the Bean shipyard on Sea Street in Camden, Maine. The vessel on the right is nearing completion, and the masts are visible on the ground on the left of the picture. Eaton's field is also visible in the background, and is where lumber was produced and stored for the shipyard. The photograph is undated, but the picture was taken prior to 1920, when the Summit House (visible on top of Mt. Battie) was torn down.Collection
