Description

Studio portrait of landscape architect Fletcher Steele (1885-1971). The photograph is undated, but likely taken in the 1920's or 1930's. The back of the photograph is inscribed with the words "Fletcher Steele, friend of BSM [Burton Stevenson Munro]." Fletcher Steele was commissioned by Mary Louise Curtis Bok as landscape architect for the Camden Public Library Amphitheatre.
