WHC 2018.14.2Description
B&W photo of Rockport Harbor. The photo is framed, and sealed in contact with the glass so there is considerable moisture damage and the image is stuck to the glass.
Photo is taken from the Pascal Avenue side of the harbor and shows a lime kiln, kiln, and lime railroad trestle across the river in downtown Rockport.
Four-masted schooner is docked on the near side of the harbor. Several smaller schooners are moored in the harbor. The Methodist Church is visible in the distance.
We have retained the high-res scans of the image but have discarded the original due to its damaged condition.Collection
