Five photos on one page titled, "A Medley Page". First photo is of a woman washing dishes according to the title but the woman appears to be doing this outdoors and it is not clear in the photo; Second photo, "After dinner", is a woman, likely Grace Gookin in a hammock under some trees; Third photo, "Getting Breakfast", is of a woman in the kitchen of possible the Gookin Cottage; Fourth photo is a view of two cottages at "French's Beach", Lake Megunticook, Camden, Maine; Fifth photo is looking out on Lake Megunticook, Camden, Maine.
Photo album c 1898-1899, B&W photos, 3.3" square, 95 pages, two images per page, mounted on heavy cardboard pages. The Gookin cottage on Lake Megunticook and presumably the Gookins and friends are the subjects. Mary Isabel Cleveland Gookin is likely the photographer.
Also included is a folder of genealogical notes, research, and correspondence related to the album and the family.
